Angels & Demons (post 2)

"Instantly, langdon was blinded. A brilliant point of light hone in the canister and them exploden outward in a shockwave of light that radiated in all directions, eurpting against the window before him with thunderous force. He stumbled back as the detonation rocked the vault. The light burned bright for a moment, searing, and then, ofter an instant, it rushed back inward, absorbing in on itself, and collapsing into a tiny speck that disapeared to nothing. Langdon blinked in pain, slowly recovering his eye-sight. He squinted into the smoldering chamber. The canister on the floor had entirely disappeared. Vaporized. Not a trace.
He stared in wonder'G...God.'
Vittoria nodded sadly 'That's precisely what my father said' (82)."

Amazing the power of anti-matter. Brown is an amazing guy he actually found out that CERN and indeed made anti-matter. This stuff is amazing and very dangerous the sample in the quote was extremely small and it had that impact. This stuff has always been known to exist and some would say is the key to connecting religion and science. This book delves deep into the rivalry between the church and science that has been raging for centuries. The details and expression and emotion is so capturing that I find it hard to put the book down when I start reading it.

This anti-matter is housed in container that use magnetic fields to keep the anti-matter suspended in absolutly nothing so that it does not react like the quote showed. When the container are taken off the charging base the magnetics have and battery that will keep them running for twenty four hours. Langdon only has less than that to find the container and get it back to CERN and it's charging station. This book continues to keep me at the edge of my seat.
