I choose this quote because it reminds me of a time i was playing football and my dad told me about that exact same thing after the game. It was the first game i had ever started in, it was against our arch rivals Ray-Pec. That game i started center cause our starting center was unable to play the first quarter. The game was a Hy-Vee High School Game of the Week, that meaning it was on tv. Ray-Pec being our rival was bad enough but the game being on tv made me even more nervous. Mydad was sitting in the stands, yelling as loud as he could like always. As i took the field playing in a varsity game for the first time, i had those butterflies in my stomach that every athlete talks about having before the big game. After the first play i could already tell that i was ready, that drive we ended up scoring and after the game my dad said. "Im proud of you son, while you were in their i could tell by the way you were playing you got over the nerves quick, when you were on the field and you guys scored on the first drive i almost cried seeing you out their" so thats why i choose that quote because it reminded me of when my dad felt the same way Boobie`s dad felt, proud of his son.
