"Santo is fine. Your mother got her money yesterday." Alice paused, double-checking in her mind. It was hard to keep track of the payments without the laptop, but nobody was giving out Powerbooks to prison immates. It was cruel and unusual. "Santo is fine." (24)
As of now the story is still going on the same pace as it was. Bennie is up to one of her toughest cases of all time. And doesnt really know how the out come will be on this one expecially sence its for first degree murder. And another twist that has been thrown in is that Alice, Bennie's client claims to be her twin sister. But Bennie grew up being the only child, and has a very hard time believing Alice.
Right now Lisa Scottoline is describing the prision and talking a little bit about some immates, and showing how things are ran in the prison. And how Bennie is going to make a good case of this murder. The book is still pretty good and has me intrested, cant wait to see whats going to happen in the upcomming events of this book.
